Another day, another flannel
Dillards blazer; Anchor Blue flannel; Pacsun necklace and jeans; Thrifted belt; Kohl's boots
This is one of those outfits that I was kinda proud of for coming up with. I thought adding a blazer to an otherwise lumberjack-inspired outfit polished it just the right amount. I'm also pretty sure Liz Lemon wore something like this once.
Anyway, I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! I know I sure did. The necklace and jeans were gifts from the little bro this year, he has pretty good taste right?
I also got a leopard Snuggie, and I honestly have no idea how I ever lived without one of these before. I've always laughed at the idea of a blanket with sleeves, but now I totally get it. And never want to take it off.
What cool things did you guys get for Christmas?

I got an iPod nano (which I'm hoping will inspire me to exercise) and a mini food processor. Those were my two faves.
ReplyDeleteI see that you have been drinking the Kool Aid and joining the Snuggie cult. That's okay; we all have our flaws. You DO look Lemon-like today... and that's okay, too, because Lemon is the shiz. :)

Your brother is good at picking out gifts! Mine got me one of my favorite gifts this year- a Psych iphone cover. I feel like such a nerd using it but I love it! Nothing wrong with pulling a Liz Lemon. She should probably be everyone's hero.
ReplyDeleteloving all the flannels...I hvae been on the hunt for on recently with no success. Sounds like you had a good christmas.
ReplyDeleteI got some chuck taylors!! Yay. I'm also trying to decide if I want to spend my xmas $$ on a fancy camera or lots of clothes. Have to admit all of your flannels are kind of tempting me to clothes shop.
ReplyDelete{I mentioned you in my egg nog post today :)

I love the snuggie too, except for the excessive amount of static it generates. Another great dressed up flannel look--I was rocking the flannel today too!
ReplyDeleteLove the flannel! And I totally have a Star Trek snuggie. <--that's not embarrassing or anything, right? :O
ReplyDeleteFlannel suits you lady!! Very pretty! Now Christmas? I got an iPad!!! So freaking excited!

That flannel + blazer combo is genius. I would never think of it, but I love it!
ReplyDeleteAnd for Christmas? Santa spoiled me rotten, but my favorites are the shoes! I got two pairs of flats (black patent leather & leopard print), black high heeled boots, and brown leather flat ones. IN LOVE. :p
You look super cute! I'm all about the plaid shirts lately.
ReplyDeleteYou know how to (30)rock a flannel. :P I really like this combo.
ReplyDeleteI think the most interesting gift I got this Christmas was a rug set from my mom. Perhaps a sign that I need to move out soon. LOL.
i love how you add necklaces on top of flannel to make them fancy. you look so cute! and your brother clearly has really good taste.
ReplyDeleteHA, this is a Liz Lemon look. Maybe with a long-sleeve hoodie, too. :D It looks great and I'm so glad you had a happy Christmas !!
ReplyDeleteI avoid snuggies like mad, my mum has one and she adores it, I use my blanket and am happy.
ReplyDeleteThe jeans are nice and the flannel shirt and blazer look good together.
Liz Lemon. Is it bad that I love her and relate to her? She has to be one of the best characters on t.v. And she would love your outfit...as do I.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that snuggie!
The Auspicious Life
This is such a chic ensemble, girl! Love the flannels and how you paired a blazer on top of it! ;) And a leopard snuggie sounds like just the thing I need right now!

Oooh, I will definitely be trying a blazer with my plaid shirt sometime in the future! Cute outfit! And your little bro has great taste! Haha, I actually got money for Christmas, so I had to do a bit of an after Christmas shopping spree to convert it into some clothing and shoes! :)
