Express dress; Thrifted belt; Target shoes.
This is what I eventually settled on for the March of Dimes dinner I went to on Thursday night. (Thanks for the suggestions!) I can't get enough of black and brown together, although I'm always disappointed in how black doesn't photograph very well. Oh well, I ended up being the perfect amount of dressed up for the event, even though I saw a lot of polo shirts too that night...that's New Mexico for you though.
Anyway, back to school today. And only six weeks until graduation, which is both exciting and terrifying. Because then it's 5 months of studying and taking the CPA exam, (and not doing much else) and then it'll be time to move, start working, and be like a grown up or something.
Okay so I'm a little freaked out now, but have a Happy Monday anyway!
You look amazing in this outfit. Love it, simple & chic.
ReplyDeleteReady to be grown up!
Love this combo. Those shoes are so cute. I have to stop by Target today... I wonder if they'll end up in my closet??? ;)
ReplyDeleteAre you dating anyone? (had to say it after seeing your tweets this morning...)
Happy Monday to you.

ReplyDeleteHooray! I love LBDs, I own at least 3. They are seriously appropriate for just about any occasion, and always looks good!
ReplyDeleteI think you look perfectly dressed up but not too much so for the event! And I know that pre-graduation terrifying feeling!! Don't worry, I'm sure you'll do great out in the real world :)
ReplyDeleteYou are killing it in this outfit! KILLING. IT. I love it!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the upcoming graduation! I wish I were closer! Good luck on the CPA exam as well. On one hand I am ready to start studying and start taking it and another part of me is terribly nervous.
ReplyDeleteThis was a perfect and easy-breezy looking put together look.
ReplyDeleteYeah, i get what you mean about black not photographing well, but you look great!!
ReplyDeleteBtw, I don't know if you watch "How I Met Your Mother", but your title totally reminded me of what Neil Patrick Harris' character Barney says all the time! haha!
