15/30 Banana Republic shirt; Thrifted skirt and belt; Payless wedges.

I came up with this outfit after seeing this lovely pin a while back. Close enough, yes? Still haven't heard of/got an account with pinterest? Let me know and I'll send you an invite!

Anyway, I probably should have ironed this skirt. I probably should have also gotten dressed earlier than 5 pm too...and maybe eaten something other than ice cream for lunch. I can still use summer vacation as an excuse though, right? It's almost a surprise I get dressed at all, although showering, getting dressed, and then blogging about it is a nice break from foreign currency translations.

    love this outfit! i think you did a great job of interpreting. 

    also, ice cream is a legit anytime food. having a good source of dairy any time of the day is great (or so that's what I keep telling myself to justify having ice cream cake for breakfast...)

    I love drawing inspiration from different places- my outfit today was inspired by your blue versatile skirt! I am really loving those wedges and the colour combination of this outfit is perfect! Icecream for lunch-mmmm I had a cupcake for dinner :)

    Ice cream is the best lunch ever :)  It's taken me till after lunchtime to get dressed the past couple of days - but it does feel good to do it - especially when you put on such a cute stripey shirt and skirt!

    thanks for visiting my blog!  i tend to forget to iron my clothes until it's too late.  i also dress up really late on the weekends... and eat ice cream for dinner!  how similar :)  cute outfit, btw.  i love the white/blue stripes paired with the colorful skirt.

    Ah! Foreign currency transactions. Actually not as bad as leases which you tweeted about earlier. You definitely deserve the ice cream for lunch. Your skirt is super cute. Those Payless wedges are perfect with it.

    I don't know what else to say besides that I really, really, REALLY like this outfit. The colors, the stripes, the skirt length--love it. I also wanted to throw out there that dressing at 5, eating ice cream for lunch, and blaming it on summer is totally chill.

    PS. Ironing is over rated - It's summer time, last thing you want to do is turn on the hot iron in the morning. That's my two cents haha!

    I had strawberry shortcake for lunch the other day.  AND dinner.  But yeah.  It's summer, is it not?  Then it's totally justified.
