11/30 Charlotte Russe shirt; Thrifted scarf (worn as belt); Target skirt and flats.
Happy 4th of July! I'd love to be able to say that I spent my holiday weekend doing fun things, but for the most part I spent it chained to my desk, reading about derivatives and hedging (jealous of my life much?). I do plan on at least catching a fireworks show though.
Anyway, I hope you have a fantastic holiday (or if it isn't a holiday for you, a fantastic day in general), and if you live in a dry area like I do, please pretty please be careful when shooting off fireworks!
Lovely color combination!
ReplyDeleteI love how you are wearing a scarf as a belt...wish I had that tiny of a waist to do that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outfit! Using the scarf as a belt is brilliant, it really makes the outfit pop!
ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of scarves as belts lately, and to be honest, I did not like all of them. But this one, I like BUNCHES! My husband and I had to work this weekend too, but come on, you have to at least take a half day on the fourth. It's not just for you, it is to celebrate AMERICA. haha, if that is not a good excuse to put off studying I don't know what is :)
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July! I love your belt and the colour of your shirt
ReplyDeleteyou look lovely, I love all the colors esp that belt of yours!! hope you have a fab long weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love that you're outfit is almost a muted version of the red and royal blue everyone has been sporting!
ReplyDeleteFireworks - man I'm jealous. They're one of my absolute favourite things in the world.
I love this outfit- the colours work perfectly together and I always use scarves as belts. Happy 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is GORGEOUS. Happy independence and s---! :) Hope you found some fun somewhere inside those derivatives...
ReplyDeleteI love the look, Lydia! It's lovely, even if it only saw the sunshine for these photos. Have we bonded over the fact that my husband is also studying for the CPA? He recently took the CMA, too. I feel your pain, even if it's just sympathy pains. Haha...
ReplyDeleteCute skirt!

Ooh, hedging? Sounds thrilling. Derivatives however make me want to be a little sick (but don't tell that to my husband the math teacher!). Anyway, I love the scarf as belt with this skirt. I hope you were able to have a little fun on the 4th!
ReplyDeleteYour scarf makes a great belt! Sorry you had to work all day - I hope you got to see some great fireworks!
ReplyDeletelove your scarf belt! i used to wear scarves as belts in high school, and i was thinking i should do that again! hope you had at least a little time to play!
