Wet Seal jacket; Charlotte Russe blazer and dress; DKNY tights; Ross belt; Kohl's boots; Scarf borrowed from my brother.
It was freezing outside, but I just had to show off my scarf-belting skills underneath all those layers. My brother has an awesome scarf collection, and so I took advantage of it as much as I could while I was home.
I'm also very obsessed with these boots, as you can probably tell. This challenge should have just been called "30 ways that Lydia remixes her awesome cognac boots", and it probably wouldn't have differed that much. (Except for my purple-y pink shoes worn here and here, I'm definitely glad I included those).
In other news, only one more week of school, one week of finals, and then this semester is over! I seriously cannot wait, and then I just have one more semester to go until I graduate, and become a grown-up, or something.
...I wanna be sedated...girl I feel ya! I have two weeks of crappp. We can do it! Great outfit by the way, lovely tights :)
ReplyDeleteGreat scarf, great boots - love it!
ReplyDeleteLydia, this is precious! I love all your layers here -- what a great combination of textures, colors and patterns. I've also noticed that my brown leather boots are my most commonly worn item of this challenge -- it's been a struggle to wear anything else with skirts and dresses!
ReplyDeleteI love the second picture--that scarf is fantastic with that dress! I love your cognac boots as well and I've been wearing my black ones ALL THE TIME this challenge. It's been so cold that it's nice having warm footwear to fall back on! :)
ReplyDeletei love those red tights and awesome striped scarf! what is it with little borthers having the best taste in accessories? you look adorable, as always.
ReplyDeleteLydia how come you look so amazingly adorable in everything?? Also my hair never turns out as perfect as yours. I'm trying not to be jealous but it's hard ;)
ReplyDeleteMAD LAYERING SKILLZ, fo sho. And I'm on the same schedule as you as far as the term goes so happy end of the stretch!!
Ooo I love this look. The scarf and blazer are my favorites! I too have been feeling the pull from my brown boots to be wonr every day! I have to to literally stop myself from pulling them on with everything!
ReplyDeleteI Love the blues with maroon. This looks great!!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the layers with that scarf!! great outfit!
ReplyDeleteBeing an adult is highly overrated...ha

I used to have something against belting scarves, but I guess everyone else is just doing it wrong, because it looks SOOO GOOD on you. I think I'm a convert now :)
ReplyDeleteI really love those boots (and your layering skills). I'd be wearing them all the time, too!
ReplyDeleteLove the color of those tights with the blue of your dress! so cute.

I love your outfit. I did the scarf belt thing yesterday too and I think I like yours more! I'm going to have to try it with a dress next time.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your finals!
Given that I've been living in my boots I wouldn't worry too much, the scarf is amazing though, that's a clever way to wear a scarf.
