And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming

And now, back to our regularly scheduled programming
Express jacket; Wet Seal tee and boots; American Eagle jeans; J. Crew necklace

Well, I'm back from my much-needed vacation, and let me tell you, I kind of didn't want to leave San Francisco. Except at some point I would have run out of money, and I was starting to miss the sun (it was cloudy all but about 2 of the days we were there). So I'm (hopefully) back to a regular blogging schedule, which is good because I feel sooo behind on all my reading / commenting.

Anyway, things I love about this time of year:

Sales. I keep accidentally buying myself stuff when Christmas shopping. I'm finally done though, and my presents are all wrapped in a pretty little pile and ready for me to take back home.

Eggnog. Fact: this is the most delicious kind that you will ever have, and it's not even that hard to make. Seriously, if I can do it, you can do it.

Being lazy. This is actually a rare thing for me to be able to do. I have a tendency to keep my schedule pretty full during the school year, and this is actually the first winter break in about 5 years that I haven't been working the whole time. This year I'm fortunate enough to not have to work, which means way more time for spending with loved ones.

What do you love about this time of year?

  1. You look so comfy and chic! Love it. :) I'm glad you are getting some time to take a break and enjoy the holidays. It's tough when you're going-going-going all the time! Trust me, I can relate. My favorite thing about this time of year is giving. It feels really good to give!

  3. Lydia, I love your outfit, and your hair! and for your question about my curling iron, I think mine is a 1-inch barrel.

And I totally want to try out that eggnog recipe. I LOVE eggnog, but it's just so unhealthy, and I know I will probably drink the entire batch myself. Maybe I'll make it for Christmas!

I love how quiet it gets at the office when everyone goes home for Christmas. It's my favorite time of year, I totally just slack off and take long lunch breaks, and there's no one there to notice. :)
