Banana Republic dress (thrifted); Charlotte Russe necklace and pumps; Target tights.
It's actually been warm enough to go without tights lately, but my cat is a total spaz and scratched all the way down my leg the other day when he was falling off of our couch. So tights it was.
This weekend I saw Red Riding Hood. Which should probably win the award for most awful movie, ever. But it was definitely worth the $8 because it was so unintentionally hilarious.
I also worked at a Relay for Life carwash this weekend. And by worked, I mean I stood on the side of the road holding signs and yelling my head off at the cars driving by. I got a lot of dirty looks and even more creepy stares, but there were quite a bit of nice people who stopped to get their cars washed.
Other than that, I was a lazy bum for the rest of the weekend. Only one more week until Spring Break though! I'm seriously counting down the hours.
this outfit is super flattering!
ReplyDeleteThat blue looks awesome on you!
ReplyDeleteVery cute dress, and I really like your necklace. And Red Riding Hood just looks from the commercials - I can imagine what the actual movie was like!
ReplyDeleteloveeeee the dress. thrifted, you say? and the heels and the belt! you look so super classy. like a real adult. love it.
ReplyDeleteYou look so professional with the dress on.
ReplyDeleteMy roommate saw that movie over the weekend and she said the same thing about it.
My school is in Spring Break right now, however the lab I work for doesn't get the break. So I still have to work while campus is deserted. It's actually not that bad.

I love the color of that dress!
ReplyDeleteThat dress is to DIE FOR! And I love when a movie is bad enough to warrant spending full price for. LOVE.

Wedding Dress
You look beautiful in your blue wedding dress! Yeah I just look at the pictures and read the last comment before I leave my own. Kidding. My spring break is next week too and I'm BEYOND PUMPED. :D
ReplyDeleteLove the blue and your necklace is really pretty.
ReplyDeleteDidn't know Red Riding Hood would be a horrible comedy.:P
Yay for spring break! Wish I still had a spring break. Sigh. Hehe.
I love the colour of the dress, and it looks great with the belt and necklace. I'm counting down the weeks until my holiday, we have nearly a month before we get our holiday and I'll be working my ass off during it. Ah well, thus is life.
ReplyDeleteHey Lydia. Thanks so much for the comment on my blog. I am going to look into your suggestions for tripods. with weather warming up, I think it will be handy for outside pics.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love your blue thrifted banana republic dress! and the color is my fave! <3
That dress looks amazing on you!! The color is great and I LOVE that necklace...adds such a nice detail :)
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit!! The colors are awesome, and the tights and shoes are a great combo!!! (And I love movies that are so bad they're good! Especially when it's not intentional! :) )
ReplyDeleteWow, you thrifted that dress? Awesome. That blue looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic, cat scratched or cat scratchless. Loving that dress.
ReplyDeleteI've read the most horrible reviews of that movie. A couple girlfriends and I were planning to go see it and hit the new F21 (woo hoo) this weekend. But, you are definitely making me wonder...
Leaving the House in THIS?!?!
WOW, LYDIA. You look really really good in this dress! I love it on you. :)
ReplyDeleteAny exciting plans for spring break??? I'm so jealous. I wish I still had spring break.
haha i love that phrase, "unintentionally hilarious." your shoes are so cute!! and so are you (: the car wash sounds... funny but awful. yay for spring break almost being here!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a gorgeous dress, I love it! I especially love that you paired it with all grays, it really makes the color pop.
ReplyDeleteIs Red Riding Hood worse than the Twilight movies? I know so many people love them, but I watch them just for the hilarity factor.
That dress is gorgeous!! That color looks fab on you :)
ReplyDeleteThat dress looks awesome on you - its really the perfect length! I'm so sad to hear about Red Riding Hood - I was really looking forward to it!!
ReplyDeleteIs it possible for it to be worse than Twilight? (Same director, though, right?) Anyways, you look gorgeous! I absolutely love your necklace.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I will go check out the movie, though...it's probably funnier than any of the comedies out there at the moment.
Amazing dress - love the whole outfit.
ReplyDeleteAnd I've heard so many people say how awful Red Riding Hood is that I'm dying to see it out of curiosity!
Love the monochromatic gray with the blue dress. Very modern but classic at the same time!
ReplyDeleteAnd adding Red Riding Hood to my 'do not see' list ASAP!
Girl, this dress is beautiful and so are you! So nice meetin' you - first time stopping by :)

I love the color of that dress...which is currently sitting in my closet, having been unworn for a desperately long time. For whatever reason, mine wrinkles just below the hip where the zipper ends, in a really, really, REALLY unflattering way. I love the way you've styled it here, though -- the monochromatic accessories are really chic!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is cute - I love this dress!

This dress has to be one of the most flattering things you have worn. The cut, the color, the length - all perfect. And the belt is the perfect touch.
