Socially acceptable

10/30 Target shirt; Old Navy shorts; Thrifted scarf; payless sandals.

Ever have one of those days where you don't feel like washing your hair, putting on makeup, or finishing turning those ripped pants into shorts (mostly because I can't decide what length to make them). Well, that's me today. I'd like to think that adding a scarf makes it socially acceptable though.

  8. I love head scarves :)

They make it so easy to add obnoxiously bright, unmatching colors into your outfit :) Love the simplicity.

  9. Look at you being all daring.  First you mix patterns then you rock a headscarf.  And all while being amazingly cute. Way to be!

  10. I love it! I can never pull this look off. I think my head is too huge that anything draped over it will add to its largeness and call attention... I love the print on your scarf!

  11. Wearing a scarf makes it okay, I agree. You're as cute as a button here.

  16. I used this tutorial and a rectangle scarf (I think it's the last one she does): http://www.theconcretecatwalk.com/2011/03/style-spice-diy-turban.html

It takes practice though, although that may just be me being uncoordinated.

  17. I think the scarf is adorable--more than just socially acceptable! And I actually like the shorts how they are right now. And, you have the option of rolling them up a little if you want them a little shorter. I need to start cutting up some of my old pants!
