This is me finally getting creative with my scarves. Aren't you guys proud?
As much as I'd like to be writing this post from a beach, or somewhere exotic, I'm actually doing it from my apartment....in my pajamas.
It's okay though, I've really been enjoying staying home and doing productive things this weekend like cuddling with my cat and playing Angry Birds.
My other plans for the week include cleaning out my closet, beating my high score on DoodleJump, and maybe, if I get really bored, doing some homework.
Oh well. How was your weekend?
Yay! First comment. Your outfit looks cute! I hope you're enjoying your Spring Break. My parents left for Clovis this morning and invited me along, but sadly, I stayed behind to study for tax. P.S> he accepted my friend request
ReplyDeleteAwesome scarf. Of course on my day off it has to be pouring. So I'll be doing fun things like laundry, cleaning my room and watching Paul. Well the latter is the only really fun thing.:P
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea for the scarf - and absolutely perfect with the tights! And I have to say, Angry Birds featured heavily in my weekend happenings as well....
ReplyDeleteMy weekend sounds about as productive as yours was. I love the scarf as a belt, and how the blue tights echo that color in the scarf. I have those tights too, and I haven't worn them yet. I need to!
ReplyDeleteI adore the color of those tights. and hooray for scarf innovation! Ive tried wearing mine as belts before, but it never seems to look right.
ReplyDeleteI organized my closet this weekend and honestly, it made getting dressed so so so much easier. enjoy your break!
I love this dress. Such a great staple piece and awesome thrifting find!
ReplyDeleteMy weekend fleeeeeeeeeeew by. Way, way too fast.
ReplyDeleteBut, I am loving your creative scarf use! I just might try that out Ms. Inspiration!!

hey I love the idea of scarf! You are a genius! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the scarf as a belt - and I like how you just let it speak for itself and knotted it in back...I usually try to go over the top and tie it in a bow or something. Looks great!
ReplyDeleteI love that you wore a scarf as a belt. I totally thought it was a cummerbund.
ReplyDeletelove how you added the floral belt to a simple outfit! xo

I LOVE this outfit! The tights match the scarf so well but not too matchy-matchy.
ReplyDeleteHow adorable! I love the scarf as a belt :) what great colors. Pajamas sound amazing :)
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Love the outfit!
ReplyDeleteI love that scarf and it's perfect as a belt!! The tights are perfect too!! Super cute outfit! Sorry you're not on a beach but playing games and cuddling with pets sounds like a pretty good weekend too! :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, I have to know! Are those boots Steve Madden Intyce that you got at Kohl's, or are they a cheaper look-a-like? If the latter, any chance Kohl's might still be carrying them or did you get them a long time ago? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteKarissa: this is why I need to use Disqus, so I can respond to these comments more effectively, but my boots are just look-a-likes, they were around $30 but that was back in November.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
